Graham Casper Haught
Finance & Company Production Manager; Graphic Designer
Graham Haught is an artist and educator from Placerville, California. He has always had a passion for movement, creation, performance and collaboration and has been devoted to ensemble-devised theatre and arts education for over 18 years. Graham completed the three-year Advanced Ensemble Training Program at Dell’Arte International where he studied physical theatre alongside the other founding members of Cahoot. During his years educating young people in the arts, he gathered years of evidence that the performing arts & live theatre are vital for positive development and building community. He continues to press the importance of fostering creativity and imaginative play at any age. He has worked in the creation and production of various devised physical theatre pieces over the years with varying focuses from dance and movement as a tool for storytelling, clown as a means of expressing the nuances and complexities of trauma & the human condition, and cabaret as an avenue to amplify the voices of transgender & queer youth. From when he was choreographing and directing musical theatre programs of 100 students in the back yard of the Crocker House Creative Arts Center to their current work with Cahoot, Graham continually pursues his exploration of the performing arts and his investigation into how it strengthens community connection and deepens one’s sense of self.
