Graham Haught is an actor, movement artist, choreographer, director and instructor from Placerville, California. They have been passionate about theatre and dance from a very young age and have been devoted to the arts since their introduction to them. Graham has taught theatre and dance at the Crocker House Creative Arts Center in Placerville, CA for nine years. They directed summer camps at the Crocker House of over 100 children as well as choreographed all the dances for these performances. During this time working with children in art, they have gathered years of evidence that the theatre-arts are necessary for positive development for a human’s all-around mental, emotional, and social well-being. They and fellow movement-artist Tiffany Van Camp choreographed and wrote a movement/dance work on gender and sexuality entitled “In Between Us” in 2013; in 2014, they along with Casey Ellis and Gavin Sellers, created a comedy spectacular “If This is It: The Magic Trunk” – both of these devised works were shown for free admission in their home town of Placerville, CA. In 2015, Graham then embarked on a three-year training program at Dell’Arte International where they studied ensemble-based physical theatre as well as met their four other co-founders of CAHOOT?! who all shared their passion and belief that theatre is necessary and should be accessible for everyone.
